Sumatran tigers are endangered by palm oil as each minute people tear about a football field of their habitat away for palm oil. This is not just a problem for the Sumatran tiger it a problem for some other species of tigers and other animals to like the Orangutan. If you were to walk into the super market 40% of the things that lay on the shelves would contain palm oil. Like most stories when there is a complication theres a resolution and this is one of those. You can help out by simply minimising the amount of products you purchase that contain palm oil and take the alternative rought. For a list of things without palm oil you can take a look at Toronga zoo website.
Great endorsement for the Tigers. Did you know that Aunt Ceil and I used to sponsor a Sumatran Tiger at the London Zoo?
ReplyDeleteYes but do you still sponsor it.
DeleteWow Mallee, 4/5/6 love your tiger photo. We are very jealous.
